Laurie Peach Toupin is a print and online author for children and adult publications. She wrote Freshwater Habitats, Savannas, The Taiga, and Life in the Temperate Grasslands for Scholastic. In her spare time, she teaches environmental education and children’s theater. But above all, she is a wife, mother, and daughter. Laurie loves the outdoors. She lives in New Hampshire with her husband, three children, two dogs, two cats, and two chickens.
